Bachelor of Arts - Global Studies

The Global Studies major was established at Hofstra in 2008 and has already become one of the most popular majors in the Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. This is not surprising given the relevance and breadth of the program. The program is specifically designed to allow students the freedom to explore their own academic interests while still keeping them focused the ongoing process of globalization. Global Studies provides students with the theoretical and practical tools to critically analyze the ongoing processes of economic, political and cultural change that have collectively become known as "globalization."
