Pre-sessional English

The pre-sessional programme is the best way to bring students' English up to the level required for university study and develop the study strategies to enable them to perform to the best of their ability on their degree. Successful completion of one of the pre-sessional programmes at the required level will guarantee direct entry to students' chosen degree.

The pre-sessional English programmes comprise four different modules (courses). Each module requires approximately 150 hours of study. There are different entry points to the pre-sessional programme. The length of the pre-sessional English programme will depend on students' current English level and the demands of the degree they plan to study. The University is offering two modes of study, hybrid and online. In the hybrid programme, the early modules will be delivered online and the later modules will be delivered on campus.
