In the Master of Cinematic Arts students will undertake research and practical work in your chosen discipline of Animation, Film/Screen Production or Games.
Studying at Griffith Film School with it's world class facilities of high-end equipment and studios, students will be well-equipped to work across a wide range of production settings that replicate industry practices. The students will engage in research and professional development towards innovation and career acceleration in their chosen field, including studio projects supervised by discipline leads and where applicable, industry partners.
Throughout the program of study, students will produce creative works in collaboration with their peers and where applicable, with external partners and stakeholders. The scope of their practice-based work may include cross-disciplinary approaches as you explore new and emerging trends, platforms and media. The students will be encouraged to challenge and refine their artistic and technical practices, to exchange ideas and perspectives and to be inspired to take their own pursuits to the next level.
There will be the opportunity to build industry connections through networking events, industry placements, artists-in-residence master classes and mentorship programs, as well as international and domestic study tours. The students will be introduced to research methods that will deepen your understanding of their own practice, and inform their strategies and approaches as a professional practitioner.
