Program Description
The Foundation Program is designed for students that haven’t yet completed their high school education to Australian Year 12 standard, or equivalent. With small class sizes, teachers are able to provide a high level of personal attention, helping students develop the confidence and study structure for academic success.
The Foundation Program has been designed to prepare students for a diploma or degree in Arts, Education, Business, Commerce, Design, Engineering, Health, Hotel Management, Information Technology and Science. It’s structured to be completed over two trimesters (8 months), with English language, academic communication skills a central focus, along with computer skills and intercultural studies.
Once students complete course requirements for the Foundation Program, students can continue on into their diploma of choice.
Hotel Management opens up a wide range of career opportunities on a truly global scale. The program will give students a thorough overview of this exciting service industry, with a strong focus on management, marketing and information systems.
The Diploma of Hotel Management will give students access to a world leader in hospitality education – Griffith University.
