Diploma of Health Sciences (075188G) + Bachelor of Paramedicine (094591E)

The Diploma in Health Sciences provides a good grounding in the many disciplines that exist within the field of health science. While the main focus is on biological and biochemical subjects, candidates will studies will extend into chemistry, cell biology and anatomy. They will develop strong foundations for entry into the second year of a number of Griffith University degree level programs in health sciences.

Students in the Bachelor of Paramedicine will be prepared to work as a paramedic in a range of traditional and non-traditional settings. They will gain clinical decision-making, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and will learn about human body systems, paramedic practice, the management of conditions, disease states and trauma.
