About Extended Accelerator Program - Bachelor of Arts - Psychology
The Extended Accelerator Program (EAP) is a three-semester program that includes an immersive English-learning experience. The program gives students firsthand practical and cultural understanding of the Gonzaga University campus and the Spokane area through its contextual curriculum. Upon successful completion of the program, students progress into the second year of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.
Gonzaga University's Department of Psychology offers a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an optional research concentration, as well as a minor in Psychology. In the Psychology program, students will critically examine human behavior and the science behind it while gaining a deep understanding of the human experience and learning to connect that knowledge to life and the complex issues in today’s world.
Research is a significant aspect of the department, and students will have many opportunities to participate in faculty research or conduct their own research project. Gonzaga University 's Psychology students have a strong record of presenting research and receiving awards for their work at major national conferences.
