This Culinary Management - Integrated Learning program was developed to enable integrated learning involving the students, George Brown College and the industry partners. It was created to meet the immediate industry need for highly skilled Culinary Management graduates with real-world kitchen experience and chef training.
In the first semester, students will learn the fundamental culinary skills and theories required to work in a modern kitchen, as well as essential industry employability skills such as communications and mathematics for hospitality.
In the second semester, students will develop more advanced culinary skills and broaden their food, wine and culinary culture knowledge as they prepare to enter their field placements.
In the third semester, students will experience the culinary industry first-hand during their residency at the state-of-the-art learning facilities, The Chefs’ House and The Café, where they will work alongside emerging top talent while serving a public of discerning urban diners and in the fourth semester, students will complete their studies.
