About Bachelor of Art - Psychology - Human Services
Throughout the psychology major, students will establish a deep knowledge of human development, social and cognitive psychology, and abnormal psychology and acquire experience applying statistics and research methods in psychology. At Fisher, students will establish hands-on experience that is crucial for success in graduate and postgraduate studies in psychology and related fields. The concentration in Human Services provides additional opportunities in various areas of social services. Some graduates also move directly into the workforce in settings including child care, social service agencies, drug treatment centers, youth and adult residential care centers, crisis centers, community mental health centers, senior citizen centers, and state and local and federal agencies serving families.
