Bachelor of Arts - Theatre - Physical Theatre

The Department of Theatre and Dance at the East Tennessee State University (ETSU) seeks to enhance the cultural environment by creating performances that educate and entertain students, faculty, staff, and members of the community. The Department produces multiple main-stage productions plus student-directed showcase productions on a yearly basis.

Through a combination of course work and hands-on experiences the Department of Theatre and Dance prepares graduates to work successfully in all aspects of professional theatre, film, television, or other areas of the entertainment industry. Many of the Theatre graduates choose to go on to pursue advanced study in graduate or professional training programs.
