English Language Preparation + 3 Term Pathway - International Foundation Year - Humanities, Law and Social Science - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Liberal Arts

The programme is designed to develop Students English language skills and introduce students  to essential academic and study skills before travelling to the International Study Centre to begin their academic programme.

This International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge, language proficiency and study skills students need to progress to degree study at the Durham University, Durham City campus in a range of subjects related to the humanities, law or social sciences.

After completing this pathway, students will transfer to the BA Liberal Arts program. Liberal Arts offers you the opportunity to design your own program of study. The Liberal Arts program complements Durham University’s Single and Joint Honours programs, enabling you to study modules in up to four subjects in, and beyond, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
