3-Term Pathway - International Foundation Certificate - Media - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Acting

The International Foundation Certificate (IFC) is a standalone pre-university programme designed to provide a pathway to higher education. It focuses on developing students’ English language proficiency and academic study skills, preparing them for direct entry into an undergraduate degree programme in the UK.

The IFC offers international students—who have completed at least 11 years of schooling—the opportunity to undertake an additional year of study. This helps bridge the gap and align their educational background with that of home students in the UK.

This acting degree programme integrates a wide range of contemporary arts disciplines, including acting, dance, voice, physical theatre, music theatre, sound design, and digital video. It celebrates and explores the creative possibilities of both live and digital arts across various performance contexts, from traditional theatre to avant-garde productions.

Focusing on performance creation, the course allows students to tailor their studies around three key themes: contemporary performance, digital performance, or applied arts and education. Throughout the programme, students are supported in developing as innovative artists capable of creating, performing, and managing both themselves and others within national and international performing arts industries.
