2-Term Pathway - International Incorporated Master in Business - Continue to Master of Science (Honours) - Economics

De Montfort University International College (DMUIC) offers a postgraduate pathway. The Pre-Master's is the first stage of the International Incorporated Masters (IIM) and is delivered at DMUIC.

The IIM is helpful for students who want extra support during their postgraduate studies. Throughout the IIM, students will be given support with their English language training and taught academic skills to bring them to postgraduate success. In addition to project work and tests, students will be given feedback in person and in writing so that they know how they are doing, and how to improve.

During the MSc (Hons) Economics course, students will build strong transferable skills in relevant quantitative methods and statistical techniques, developing expertise in quantification, evaluation and design to an advanced level. Across the four modules, students will learn about the forces shaping global economies, analyse the dynamics of competition and innovation in digital markets for decision-making, gain hands-on experience with the latest data analytics tools, and engage with pressing issues like international trade, sustainability, and emerging market dynamics. Students learning will culminate in their final block of teaching when they deliver an in-depth dissertation on a topic of their choice.
