Program Description
This two-year Ontario College Diploma program in Hearing Instrument Specialist has a rich history in developing graduates who build meaningful and long careers helping those who experience hearing loss.
Guided by highly qualified faculty with extensive industry experience, this program offers students a series of comprehensive theory courses coupled with simulated learning and hands-on training. Students will also develop key skills in communications, professionalism, and business development. Building on the program's strong connection to industry, students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and develop their professional network in a 14-week field placement experience.
As one of the only Hearing Instrument Specialist programs to offer fully immersive simulated learning experiences, the training at Conestoga College will give students the best chance for a successful start to a career and prepare them to be job ready upon graduation.
