Bachelor of Arts - General Studies

Concordia University of Edmonton’s 4-year General Studies program offers you the opportunity to move forward with your education, and to have more flexibility in your major/concentration selections. If you are having a hard time deciding between two majors for a 4-year degree (and not wanting to complete a double major), the General Studies program allows you to complete a dual concentration, which requires fewer courses in each area of study. This program is also beneficial to students who are in the middle of a 3-year BA and want to stay for a fourth year, but do not have the requirements for a 4-year degree in their area of study. It may be easier to apply completed courses to another concentration, which can be completed in your fourth year.

Students wishing to apply to Bachelor of Arts in General Studies must choose two concentrations from the follow options: Drama, English, French, History, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Political Economy, Religious Studies, Sociology.
