About Higher National Diploma - Performing Arts Acting
Become part of Cheshire College's new and innovative production company as an actor, technician, designer and / or events manager. In the Performing Arts HNC, students are part of a working production team creating, organizing, performing and managing all manner of events and productions including Musicals, Fashion Shows, Verbatim Theatre, Pantomime and innovative work.
Cheshire College is able to offer all of the HNCs in a unique package whereby a learner can study a particular pathway e.g. acting or technical theatre, or they can take a unit across any of the pathways meaning they can leave the course with a rounded knowledge of all aspects of the entertainment and theatre industry by gaining a general HNC in Performing Arts. The Acting specialist pathway will equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills for success in a range of positions.
Students will study modules including:
- The Performing Arts Industry (a research project)

- Acting
- Voice and Speech for Actors
