Program Description
The Business Administration – Marketing program helps turn students into skilled marketing professionals who manages the link between an organization and its customers using social media, customer knowledge and business strategy.
This business program covers broad-based business topics in addition to detailed marketing training. Marketing-specific areas of study include:
- Marketing research
- Marketing communications (which includes advertising and promotion)
- Digital marketing (which includes direct marketing, e-marketing and customer relationship management)
- Brand planning
Courses in the offering make use of case studies and industry software such as Tableau and Envision. In addition, lectures, classroom assignments and presentations help students develop the creative decision-making and persuasive communication skills necessary to become successful marketing professionals.
Students also get the opportunity to participate in nation and province-wide academic contests such as the Ontario Colleges Marketing and Canadian Marketing Association competitions.
