Integrated Masters - Master of Science - Computer Science (G404)

The Computer Science program combines undergraduate and postgraduate study into a single course. Individuals who are interested in pursuing a research career or an advanced technical career in their field will find this course suitable.

The course is essentially the same as  equivalent three-year program, but it offers an additional fourth year of study. This fourth year provides students with the opportunity to delve deeper into the field of Computer Science. During this year, students can choose to study a variety of optional modules that will expose them to a wide range of skills and knowledge in Computer Science research. These modules are centered around advanced topics in the main research areas of the School.

In addition, students will undertake a significant team project under the guidance of one of  academic staff members. This project will involve the development of new research and technology. It will not only reinforce the knowledge gained throughout the course but also help students cultivate transferable technical, analytical, and professional skills. Moreover, it will enhance their understanding of current technology trends. The course encompasses a blend of fundamental techniques and concepts, advanced programming languages and paradigms, as well as emerging technology-based subject matter.
