Integrated Masters -Master of Physics - Physics (F304) (Sandwich Year)

The MPhys Physics (with a Professional Placement) program is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of both theoretical and experimental physics, while also offering real-world, professional experience.

This five-year program is accredited by the Institute of Physics (IOP) and offers a more comprehensive exploration of the subject compared to the BSc course. Students have the opportunity to further develop their practical knowledge through studying alongside internationally respected physicists who are at the forefront of revolutionary innovations. The program also provides access to state-of-the-art apparatus, including lasers, X-ray sources, and electronics.

A notable feature of this program is the inclusion of a professional placement year. During this year, students have the chance to gain relevant work experience in industry, commerce, government, or another approved placement provider.
