Integrated Masters - Master of Mathematics, Operational Research and Statistics (252F) (Study Abroad Year)

The MMORS degree offers individuals the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of Operational Research and Statistics. This program builds upon the foundational knowledge acquired in the BSc degree and prepares students for high-level positions in relevant professions. Additionally, the MMORS degree serves as a solid foundation for those interested in pursuing a research career.

The MMORS course is similar to the three-year BSc in Mathematics, Operational Research and Statistics, with the exception of an additional year of study. During this year, students will undertake a major project, which may involve conducting a survey on a mathematical theory not covered in the taught modules, embarking on an introductory research project, or developing a piece of mathematical software.

As part of the MMORS course, students will have the opportunity to study at a university abroad during their third year before returning to Cardiff. The School has established agreements with various institutions worldwide, providing students with the necessary support to apply for their overseas year.
