Integrated Masters - Master of Mathematics, Operational Research and Statistics (252D)

A deeper understanding of Operational Research and Statistics is gained on the four-year MMORS degree. The course expands on the BSc degree, preparing students for high-level entry into relevant professions. It serves as a solid foundation for those interested in pursuing a research career.

Students not only have the opportunity to explore a research topic of their choice, but they also develop essential project and time management skills that are highly sought after by graduate employers. Additionally, they acquire the necessary skills, methods, and ways of thinking required to analyze and address complex organizational problems, becoming confident statistical analysts.

The MMORS course is identical to the three-year BSc in Mathematics, Operational Research, and Statistics, but with an additional year of study dedicated to completing a major project. This project could involve conducting a survey on an existing area of mathematical theory not covered in taught modules, undertaking an introductory research project, or developing a piece of mathematical software.
