Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Sport Management (C620)

Students will develop their understanding of the key strategic and organizational challenges and opportunities for sport on both national and international levels.

During the course, they will cover the core elements of business in sport, such as business and strategic management, governance, leadership, and policy, and explore how these aspects can be applied to sport management.

Students will gain a solid grasp of the wider context of sport management, including community engagement, physical activity and well-being, culture and society, and coaching. They will also have the opportunity to work within the consultancy unit, SportsLab, utilizing their expertise to help athletes improve their performance.

The career planning and development modules, along with employability modules, will assist students in gaining the skills required for a successful career in this growing sector.

For those who are talented in sport, the program offers the opportunity to apply for one of the sport scholarships. As Sport Scholars, they would receive a financial bursary, university gym membership, personal training, mentoring, and sports science support.
