Master of Arts - English

The Master of Arts in English program at Chico State University welcomes all students in the major who are interested in further postgraduate studying in English. The program is designed for students to study literature, linguistics, rhetoric, grammar, composition, and creative writing at advanced levels.

The program offers students to engage in advanced work, engaging with professors who specialize in rhetoric and literacy; creative writing; British, American, multicultural, and international literature; and the study of the English language. Graduate students are given opportunities to attend seminars and conferences, receive professional training in editing and composing for publications, teach classes in their field, and gain valuable experiences through internships related to their interests.
