About Bachelor of Arts - Music
The Bachelor of Arts major and minor in Music places more weight proportionally on the academic study of music (e.g. theory, history, literature) than music performance (e.g. applied instruction). If students are interested in teaching music, a major or minor in Music (Arts) will not qualify them to meet the requirements of a music teachable at the Senior Years level for the Bachelor of Education program.
