Master of Science - Finance (16-month)

Serious disruption is occurring within the financial industry with digital tech and Big Data, this progression course will provide students with advanced financial skills required to thrive in an evolving financial environment. Students advance their financial knowledge with Bournemouth's progression course, suitable for individuals with a background in finance or a related discipline. 

Students benefit from a blended learning experience, with combined teaching elements of theory and practice. Students tailor their learning and study areas of interest by choosing from the range of optional units, bringing them closer to their future career. 

Students can undertake a significant piece of self-managed research in an area that interests them in relation to the course. They'll study relevant and up-to-date developments in the financial industry including FinTech, Big Data, derivatives and risk management. 

Students can enhance employability with an optional 30-week placement overseas or in the UK, with Bournemouth being home to many large financial companies such as J.P. Morgan and Barclay.
