2-Term Pathway - Foundation Certificate for Science - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Geography

For entry to the 1st year of an undergraduate degree at Bournemouth University. Students' course length is determined mainly by their English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent). All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

This course examines the natural, social, economic, and political factors that influence today's ever-changing world and will help students understand ways of managing the environment sustainably and deal with social and environmental conflicts affecting it. This course has been accredited by the Royal Geographical Society (with Institute of British Geographers), as a recognition of its quality.  Accredited degrees contain a solid academic foundation in geographical knowledge and skills, and prepare graduates to address the needs of the world beyond higher education.
