2-Term Pathway - Foundation Certificate for Science - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Biological Sciences

For entry to the 1st year of an undergraduate degree at Bournemouth University. Students' course length is determined mainly by their English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent). All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

This course helps develop biological knowledge and practical skills to tackle some of the world’s greatest challenges. From genes to ecosystems, students explore the fundamentals of life on Earth and how to make positive changes to individuals, societies and global environments. On this course, students will learn through a combination of lectures, seminars, tutorials, workshops and practical sessions. In addition to teaching delivered by Bournemouth University staff, students will benefit from regular guest lectures from industry.
