2.5-Term Pathway - Foundation Certificate for Business, Law or Finance - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Criminology with Law

For entry to the 1st year of an undergraduate degree at Bournemouth University. Students' course length is determined mainly by their English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent). All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

This course examines the nature of crime, its causes and the legal responses to it. A broad knowledge of the law and legal systems is particularly valuable for careers within the criminal justice system, or related sectors, such as policing, prisons and probation services. It also presents postgraduate study options, including Graduate Diploma in Law/Common Professional Examination, or postgraduate research.
