Master of Arts in Education - Curriculum and Instruction - Instructional Technology

The Instructional Technology master's program faculty hold graduate degrees in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, and Educational Leadership. Faculty bring years of teaching experience in preK-12 and higher education settings to the program. This program is for persons wishing to provide leadership in instructional technology, for teachers who want to advance their teaching skills through the use of technology, or for those interested in preparing for work in a technology training environment.

In this digital age, skills in using instructional technologies and principles of instructional design are essential in classrooms and training environments. As a candidate in APSU's Instructional Technology master's program, students will advance their skills in areas like multimedia creation, digital publishing, and

effective digital instruction.

Busy professionals do not have time for busy work. Candidates in this program will work on practical, relevant projects that they can use in their current or desired positions. The program also features a practicum course, which allows for a mentorship experience with a practicing technologist, and a capstone course in which the candidate designs, implements, and evaluates a technology training.
