Advanced Master's Accelerator - Master of Science - Science Education

The Advanced Master’s Accelerator Program is a one-semester program designed specifically for international students who are ready to succeed in immersive English-speaking classrooms but who also want the benefit of English- language and academic training that will help them succeed in their post-graduate program. The program curriculum offers a balance of professional and Master’s Accelerator Program exclusive courses. Students will be equipped with the practical, degree-specific vocabulary and research skills needed to excel in their coursework. Advanced Master’s Accelerator Program students will be enrolled as full-time students within the Advanced Master’s Accelerator Program and will earn 6 credits toward their selected degree.

This innovative on campus master’s degree in science education expands upon the student's bachelor’s experiences. Students will work directly with outstanding faculty to broaden their approach to teaching science in their specialization (biology, chemistry, physics, general sciences) while they earn their master’s. The M.S. non-certification program provides an interdisciplinary graduate-level education for community-based or international educators who do not wish to gain teacher certification/licensure in the United States.
