Illustration is a way of seeing and understanding the world. Students will discover how to connect and communicate with different audiences across a range of platforms.
On this course, students will explore the excitement of a rapidly evolving discipline, one that blurs boundaries between different kinds of visual creativity. They will challenge and interrogate the way that people think about imagery and style. Students will be a member of a lively community of illustrators exploring and engaging together.
In Arts University Bournemouth's dynamic studio environments, students will learn to experiment, test and develop their illustration practice. They can explore drawing, painting, sewing and printmaking, as well as photographic, digital, moving image and interactive media.
