The Engineering Technology program at Arkansas State University offers a diverse curriculum of study designed to provide there students with the broad background necessary to be competitive and successful technologists in today’s mainstream industrial workforce. This program prepares students for a wide range of technical careers ranging from manufacturing, management, operations, and upcoming renewable energy sector. Engineering Technology graduates develop, manage and improve productions processes in a wide range of industries.
This program is oriented to providing training to both traditional as well as non-traditional students, who are already in the workforce. This program has two intertwined objectives: serving the needs of quality technical education in the region, and supporting the local industry and economy by providing a qualified workforce.
Graduates of the Engineering Technology program find positions in wide range of manufacturing and service sector.
