The BS program in Integrated Social Science is designed to cross-educate students in the disciplines of the social sciences to meet the complex issues that confront human society in the 21st century.
The program bridges traditional disciplinary boundaries to immerse students across disciplines, allowing for true fusion of ideas and methodologies which otherwise may elude them with traditional, single-discipline social science programs.
Graduates of the program are prepared with theory and research skill sets that allow them to draw from the best of the multiple disciplines of the social sciences as they confront a technically sophisticated world. The program prioritizes inclusion, community health, and social-science knowledge as students learn to apply their learning and skills to real-life social issues.
