About Bachelor of Science - Applied Biological Sciences - Pre-Veterinary Medicine
The purpose of the concentration in Preveterinary Medicine in the BS program in Applied Biological Sciences is to prepare undergraduate students to successfully complete the admission requirements for pursuing an advanced degree in veterinary medicine.
The concentration curriculum emphasizes a solid foundation in biology, chemistry, physics, animal science and mathematics while offering specialized courses in veterinary medicine and opportunities for placement in internships in the field.
Students in this program will contextualize knowledge through experience-based learning activities, including:
