About Extended Accelerator - Bachelor of Science - Interdisciplinary Studies
The Extended Accelerator Program (EAP) is a three-semester program for students seeking an immersive English-learning experience. The program gives students firsthand practical and cultural understanding of the Adelphi campus and New York area through its contextual curriculum. Students may enter the program in the spring, summer or fall. Upon completion of the program, students progress into the second year of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.
The more than 50 majors Adelphi offers prepare the majority of students for a variety of careers. Still, there’s that rare student whose specific intellectual pursuits and professional goals don’t quite align with any one program we offer. For that student - who may be students - there’s the interdisciplinary studies program, which combines studies from two or more departments for a one-of-a-kind education.
