About Extended Accelerator - Bachelor of Science - Chemistry
The Extended Accelerator Program (EAP) is a three-semester program for students seeking an immersive English-learning experience. The program gives students firsthand practical and cultural understanding of the Adelphi campus and New York area through its contextual curriculum. Students may enter the program in the spring, summer or fall. Upon completion of the program, students progress into the second year of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.
The undergraduate chemistry programs are flexible and can prepare students for a career in chemistry as well as a career in medicine. State-of-the-art facilities and modern technologies provide chemistry majors with in-depth research opportunities. And unlike many universities, laboratory hours at Adelphi are taught exclusively by faculty.
