About Extended Accelerator - Bachelor of Science - Biochemistry
The Extended Accelerator Program (EAP) is a three-semester program for students seeking an immersive English-learning experience. The program gives students firsthand practical and cultural understanding of the Adelphi campus and New York area through its contextual curriculum. Students may enter the program in the spring, summer or fall. Upon completion of the program, students progress into the second year of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.
As a biochemistry major students will be prepared for a career in the pharmaceutical industry or in agricultural chemistry and food science, or to pursue an advanced degree in biochemistry, biophysics, medicine, dentistry or optometry.
