About Extended Accelerator - Bachelor of Arts - Philosophy
The Extended Accelerator Program (EAP) is a three-semester program for students seeking an immersive English-learning experience. The program gives students firsthand practical and cultural understanding of the Adelphi campus and New York area through its contextual curriculum. Students may enter the program in the spring, summer or fall. Upon completion of the program, students progress into the second year of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.
The Bachelor of Arts. in Philosophy provides students with strong background in the history of philosophy, logic, critical reasoning and helps shape how they present a rigorous argument. They will also have the opportunity to broaden their perspective on contemporary issues through electives in philosophy of law, religion, science, bioethics, political philosophy, non-Western philosophy and many other topics.
