Program Description
There are two different Core Classes in the EAP program: Reading & Writing (RW), and Listening & Speaking (LS). Students at the EAP (Bridging) Level will take one selected academic credit course while they complete the EAP program.Reading and Writing: The main objective of this course is to refine academic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills that will be needed for first-year university classes. In this course, you will sharpen your research, academic writing, referencing, presentation, discussion, note-taking and critical thinking skills.
Listening and Speaking: The main objective of this course is to practice basic speaking and listening requirements within a university setting. You will listen to short academic lectures and find the main ideas and details. You will practice speaking tasks common to first year university classes including group discussions and presentations.
