The curriculum covers the fundamentals of food, nutrition, and exercise, including food handling skills, the functionality of raw and cooked food ingredients, key social issues in nutrition, sport, and exercise, the relationship between nutrition, metabolism, digestion, diet, and health.
Students also learn how to analyze food and drink using various scientific techniques and explore nutritional needs throughout an individual's lifespan.
During the first two years, all students undertake Food Science, Nutrition and Wellbeing as a foundation. Thereafter, they have the option to specialize in
other areas or continue studying within this pathway.
