Scholarship Value and Benefits

• Awards of £3,500 or £5,000 as a tuition fee discount.
• The higher award of £5,000 is available to students domiciled in the following countries:
  • India
  • Kenya
  • Pakistan
  • Turkey
  • UAE
  • USA
• The scholarship is applied automatically upon enrolment for eligible students.

Eligibility Criteria

• Be an international student from an eligible country or territory.
• Apply to Cardiff University for selected undergraduate programmes starting in September 2026.
• Submit their university application by 30 June 2026.
• Accept their offer by their UCAS deadline and make Cardiff University their firm choice.
• Meet all offer conditions, including any English language requirements, by 31 August 2026.
• Fulfil the original academic admissions criteria for their chosen programme exactly as published on Cardiff University’s course pages at the time of application.
• Hold either a conditional or unconditional offer that meets the full terms and conditions of the scholarship.

Exclusions and Important Notes

• The scholarship is not available for undergraduate programmes in the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, and Healthcare.
• Certificate and Diploma awards are excluded from this scholarship scheme.
• No separate application is required; eligible students are automatically considered.
• Cardiff University reserves the right to verify that offer conditions meet the minimum entry requirements for scholarship eligibility.
• Applicants who do not meet their offer conditions or original admissions criteria will not be eligible, even if accepted.
• Scholarship eligibility is distinct from admission eligibility; offers with lower grades or alternative qualifications than the published minimum will not qualify for the scholarship.
