Electronics and Computer Science Global Scholarship
Overview
The Southampton Electronics and Computer Science Global Scholarship offers 12 awards of £5,000 each to international students applying for undergraduate or postgraduate master's degrees in Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton. This scholarship supports academic excellence and helps international students fund their studies in a leading UK university.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Apply for an eligible Electronics and Computer Science course before applying for the scholarship.
- Receive a course offer before the scholarship closing date.
- Be an international student paying overseas fees.
- Be a resident of one of the specified eligible countries for at least three years prior to the course start (excluding residence for study purposes).
- For undergraduate applicants, have selected the University of Southampton as their firm choice.
- Not be receiving any external scholarship that fully covers their fees.
The scholarship is not available for students studying:
- PGCert, PGDip, Foundation, or PGR courses
- Distance Learning courses
- With a partner institution or at the Malaysia campus
- Study Abroad, exchange, or partner student programs
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses
- Only pre-sessional English courses (unless combined with an offer for undergraduate or postgraduate study)

Applicants must be residents of one of the following countries (residency defined as living there for 3+ years before course start):

Scholarship Value
- Each scholarship awards £5,000 towards tuition fees.
- There are 12 scholarships available for the 2025/26 academic year.
Application Process
To apply:
- Apply for an eligible Electronics and Computer Science undergraduate or postgraduate master's course at the University of Southampton.
- Complete and submit the scholarship expression of interest form separately.
Deadline
- The scholarship application deadline is 24 April 2026, 5pm (UK time).
