The Southampton Arts and Humanities Deans Global Talent Scholarship offers international students a valuable opportunity to receive £10,000 towards tuition fees when studying undergraduate or postgraduate master's degrees in arts or humanities at the University of Southampton. With 40 scholarships available, this award supports academic excellence and global talent in these fields.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Apply and receive an offer for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Southampton
  • Exceed the course entry requirements
  • Be an international student paying overseas tuition fees
  • Not have external sponsorship covering 100% of tuition fees

This scholarship is not available for students:

  • Enrolled in PGCert, PGDip, Foundation, or PGR courses
  • Studying via Distance Learning
  • Attending partner institutions or the Malaysia campus
  • Participating in Study Abroad, exchange, or partner student programs
  • Enrolled in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses
  • Only taking pre-sessional English courses (unless they have an offer for undergraduate or postgraduate study)

Scholarship Value and Duration

  • £10,000 awarded towards tuition fees
  • For undergraduates, the award covers each year of study
  • For postgraduate master's students, the award covers the first year only

Application Deadlines and Process

  • First round deadline: 7 April 2026, 5pm UK time
  • Second round deadline: 30 June 2026, 5pm UK time

Applicants must:

  1. Apply for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Southampton
  2. Submit a separate online scholarship application by the relevant deadline

Late applications will not be accepted. Applicants will be notified of outcomes by 8 May (first round) or 31 July (second round). Successful applicants receive a confirmation email with an official award letter.
