Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship for Single Parents

• You must be a single parent with either sole or shared custody.
• Your child or children must live with you.

Scholarship for New Beginners

• Submit a letter of motivation (maximum 1 DIN A4 page) explaining your reasons for starting anew and your academic or career goals.

Scholarship Benefits

• Covers 50% of tuition fees for the selected program.
• Supports both new and continuing students who meet the eligibility requirements.

Application Process and Deadlines

• Apply directly for your desired scholarship by submitting all required documents within a full calendar month (e.g., January 1 to January 31).
• Applications are reviewed the following month, with decisions communicated approximately two weeks after the application month ends.
• You can start your scholarship application simultaneously with your degree program application.
• Begin your studies only after receiving scholarship approval.
• Once approved, you must sign your study contract within three months, or the scholarship will expire. The actual start date of your studies can be later.

Important Notes

• You may apply for an IU scholarship only once.
• Your application is valid only for the month in which you submit it; it will not carry over to future months.
