Deakin Latin America Scholarship

Benefits

• 20% discount on the total indicative tuition fee stated in the offer letter
• Scholarship applies for the normal duration of the course

Eligibility Criteria

• Be a prospective international student enrolling in a coursework degree (bachelor’s or master’s) at Deakin University
• Be a citizen of a Latin American country
• Have met the English language and academic entry requirements for their chosen course
• Not have accepted any other Deakin scholarship or bursary

Academic Eligibility

• Have an overall equivalent Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65% or higher in their most recent post-secondary studies
• If no post-secondary studies have been commenced, have completed secondary studies with an average of 65% or higher
• For International Baccalaureate (IB) applicants, a score of 27 points is required (which is 2 points higher than the standard course entry requirement of 25)

Application Process

• All prospective international students applying to study at Deakin University will be automatically assessed for this scholarship
• There is no separate scholarship application form required
• Applicants will be notified of the outcome as part of their admission process
