About YUBridge Program - Term 2 ((As of Fall 2024, program name changes to Academic Credit English)
Program Description
The YUBridge Program is designed for high-achieving international high school graduates. After being accepted into the YUBridge program, students will receive a conditional offer of acceptance to York University. Through a combination of English language instruction and academic credit courses, they will meet the minimum language requirement for full admission to York University.
This program consists of 25 hours per week of English language instruction, including Academic English classes, language support, tutorials and lectures. As part of the program, students will take for-credit courses in Liberal Arts, Science, Health, Performing Arts, Media Design, and several others. They will also take one 3-credit course in the first term.
