Master of Arts - Scriptwriting

The MA Scriptwriting will develop skills in writing for TV, Film, Theatre, Audio Drama, and Video Games.

The Scriptwriting master's degree prepares students for a career as a professional scriptwriter. Students will increase their employment opportunities as this course mirrors industry practices. 

Students will learn from experienced scriptwriters who will provide detailed, regular feedback on their scripts. This will enhance knowledge of story structure, scene development, characterisation, and dialogue. Students will be able to transform their stories into industry-standard scripts.

Students will have access to CELTX scriptwriting software to help format their scripts to a professional standard. And, they'll graduate with a portfolio of work across a wide variety of genres. This includes a feature length "calling card" script, that will showcase student writing talent to agents and producers.
