Tamwood at the University of British Columbia (UBC)

Founded in 1993, by owners Tamsin Plaxton and Mathew Collingwood, Tamwood runs three divisions and manages a sister company that together offers a range of educational, vacation, work, and travel programs, and other services and support to ensure students learn new skills. These programs help them to expand existing abilities, discover talents they didn't know they had and forever transform themselves in wonderful ways they can barely imagine. 

All of the Tamwood language schools in Canada have been selected for their excellent locations, modern facilities, their proximity to popular attractions and their professional environments. All of the language programs that Tamwood offers have been designed to combine the most modern learning techniques with interesting and stimulating subject matter thus making learning English at Tamwood both easy and enjoyable.

Another division of the company, Tamwood International Camps, has been offering world-class instruction, lots of fun and a warm welcome to young people from around the globe at its summer and winter camp programs in Canada and the USA. They help campers develop self-confidence, a sense of adventure and curiosity, and an appreciation for cultural diversity.
