Grace Christian School is more than a Prince Edward Island Department of Education-certified university-preparatory, private school in Charlottetown. In addition to providing university-preparatory courses to their high school students, GCS is also an Advanced Placement (AP) school, certified through the CollegeBoard, allowing students to write any AP exam and providing select AP courses throughout the year. • Athletics: Extracurricular activities are an important component of the student experience at Grace Christian School. GCS's interscholastic athletic programs continually strive for proficiency and excellence as they compete for championships within the province and country, having secured 19 provincial championship titles in the past 5 years. Athletic programs offered at GCS include cross country, soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, track and field, flag football, and more. Facilities: Grace Christian School houses seventeen classrooms, a gymnasium, a multipurpose room, a library, an art studio, and a chapel area. The school also has a science lab, technology lab, music room, and various open-learning spaces, as well as a large green space with playground equipment, soccer field, basketball court, outdoor ice skating rink, and seasonal sledding hill.
