School of Nursing and Midwifery Scholarships
Overview
The UCC School of Nursing and Midwifery offers significant scholarships for international students applying to specific nursing programmes. This financial support is designed for self-funding, non-EU students, with scholarship amounts varying based on your country's ranking in the Human Development Index. This is a fantastic opportunity to reduce your tuition costs while studying at one of Ireland's leading nursing schools.
MSc. (Non-EU) Nursing Scholarships
For students enrolled in the MSc. (Non-EU) Nursing programme, which has a full tuition fee of €19,700, the following scholarships are available:
- A 50% scholarship is offered to self-funding applicants from countries ranked between 116-191 in the Human Development Index. The resulting tuition fee you pay is €9,850.
- A 35% scholarship is offered to self-funding applicants from countries ranked between 67-115 in the Human Development Index. The resulting tuition fee you pay is €12,805.
BSc. Nursing Studies (Top-Up Degree) Scholarships
For students enrolled in the BSc. Nursing Studies (Top-Up Degree), which has a full tuition fee of €11,400, the following scholarships are available:
- A 15% scholarship is offered to self-funding applicants from countries ranked between 116-191 in the Human Development Index. The resulting tuition fee you pay is €9,590.
- A 10% scholarship is offered to all other self-funding applicants from countries ranked between 67-115 in the Human Development Index. The resulting tuition fee you pay is €10,260.
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a self-funding applicant.
- You must be classified as a non-EU (International) student for fee purposes at UCC.
- You must hold an offer to start a full-time, one-year BSc. Nursing Studies or MSc. Nursing (Non-EU) at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University College Cork.
Important Notes
- Tuition fee scholarships are applied directly to your fees and will not be paid to you directly.
- All students are required to pay capitation fees, which are subject to change.
