Important Notes
- Admission averages for scholarship consideration include prerequisite courses for the chosen program and are not rounded.
- Western evaluates admission averages for applicants from non-Canadian secondary school curricula based on grading practices and scales.
- Students applying for the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) should not report Western scholarships on their application; Western will report these awards directly to OSAP. External funding must still be reported by the student.
- Admission scholarships cannot be deferred.
This scholarship program provides a significant opportunity for Black and Indigenous students to receive substantial financial support while pursuing academic excellence at Western University. Prospective students are encouraged to complete self-identification by June 30 and apply early to maximize their chances of receiving these competitive awards.
